Why most platform sneakers disappoint
The flat slab.
Two inches of foam, same height front and back. It adds height and walks like a brick taped to your foot.
The hidden wedge.
Looks like a sneaker from the outside, drops your foot three inches on the inside. Same ball-of-foot ache as the heels you left at home.
The glued sole.
The platform is bonded to the upper around the edge. Give it one wet week and the seam lifts at the toe.
The 1.4 drop
A 2.75" stiletto puts your heel 4 inches above your toes. Your weight slides forward onto the ball of your foot, and that is the part that hurts by 3pm.
This sole is 2.75" under the heel — and 1.4" under the toe. Subtract them and you get the number that actually matters.
The platform is vulcanized rubber, moulded in one piece with the upper rather than glued on at the edge — so there is no seam at the toe to lift.
Why Most Work Shoes Force You to Choose Between Posture and Pain
Every working woman knows the dilemma: high heels give you posture, leg elongation, and authority in tailored trousers—but they crush your metatarsals, tip your pelvis forward, and leave you limping by lunchtime.
When you switch to standard flat sneakers or ballet flats, pants bunch up on the ground, your silhouette loses its proportion, and flat thin soles offer zero heel shock absorption on hard tile and concrete floors.

Find your size in thirty seconds
Shoe sizes are not consistent between brands, so use your foot length rather than the size you usually buy.
Stand on a sheet of paper with your heel against a wall. Mark the paper at the end of your longest toe. Measure from the wall to the mark in millimetres. Measure both feet in the evening and use the larger number.
The knit gives, but a slip-on that is too long will slide at the heel.
If the size is wrong, send them back
Thirty days from delivery. Try them on indoors — if the fit is not right, start a return and we will sort it out. Full policy is linked below.
FAQs
How high is the sole?
How high is the sole?
About 7 cm at the heel and about 3.5 cm at the toe. It steps down toward the front, so your forefoot stays closer to the ground than the heel figure suggests.
Are they heavy?
Are they heavy?
About 200g a shoe. Thick soles are usually heavy, and this one is not — there is a video of one on a scale further up the page.
Are they hard to walk in?
Are they hard to walk in?
They walk differently from a flat shoe, and most people take a few minutes to adjust. The sole is lower at the toe than at the heel, which keeps the front of your foot near the ground. Wear them indoors first.
I am between two sizes — which do I order?
I am between two sizes — which do I order?
The smaller one. The knit stretches to fit, but a slip-on that is too long will slide at the heel and there are no laces to tighten.
Will they fit a wide foot or a high instep?
Will they fit a wide foot or a high instep?
The upper is knitted, so it gives across the widest part of the foot rather than pressing against it. Order by foot length using the chart above.
How do I clean them?

Spot clean the knit with mild soap and cool water, then air dry away from direct heat. Do not put them in a washing machine or a dryer.
